​​How long will results last?
The results may become noticeable immediately and continue to improve over the next 3 months. With a recommended course of 3-6 sessions, regular maintenance, care, and sun protection, the benefits can last for years. The number of sessions required will ultimately depend on the condition of your skin. Should additional sessions be necessary, they can be scheduled with an interval of three weeks between each treatment. Like all surgical and cosmetic procedures, the effects of plasma treatments is not entirely permanent as it does not stop further ageing.

What can I expect?
In some cases there may be some tiny light brown dotting. In 3-7 days these will fade away, revealing new pink skin. Some swelling is expected (this is most common with eyelid treatments) and is likely to last only 3-5 days at most. You may experience a sensation similar to sun burn which will likely last a few hours. These side effects are minimal when considering the timespan the results last. Makeup can be applied as cover where needed but should not be applied for 24hrs after the treatment. On the day of treatment, you will need to protect your skin from sunlight.

How painful is a PlasmaLift treatment?
Treatment is virtually painless and is minimised with the use of a local anaesthetic cream. The healing process can vary depending on your skin profile. On very rare occasions there may be some mild discomfort, which can be relived with over-the-counter pain relief.

How long does a PlasmaLift treatment take?
PlasmaLift is a fast and effective treatment, taking anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on the skin area. This includes your free initial consultation, topical anaesthetic, preparation and the treatment itself.

How many treatments are required on one area?
Each client will respond differently to PlasmaLift, but generally 3-6 sessions are needed. Clients can expect a continued improvement in their results over time as their body responds to the treatment and builds more collagen along with improving elastin production.
